Margo, I feel like I am stalking you, so I am apologizing in advance for butting in AGAIN! I had just remembered seeing this post from Hairsite over in the men's forums and it shows pics of his before and after TE episode.

And I wanted to let you know that what I think was my TE from coming off the pill and various other things subsided during the week of Sept 20 or so. I am down to shedding 40-50 or so a day now. Its now mid October and I can't say that I see any startling regrowth yet. In fact my hairline continues to look like it is receding and thinning, hence my purchase of Rogaine. Like you, I am thinking, maybe I should wait and see how much is going to come back. But I did lose the majority of my hair in August, so it should be starting to come back by now. I do have regrowth and have throughout the shedding, but I am not seeing any additional scalp coverage yet, plus the few new hairs growing around my hairline are mostly miniaturized.

BTW, the unopened package of 2% Rogaine is sitting on my bathroom counter ready to be used. I think I'm going to start it when I get my azelaic acid in the mail. I actually feel OK about starting it because I think it has the most chance of being an effective treatment.
