Make sure you get your hormones tested, thyroid tested, and very important to get your ferritin tested. Have a look thru the forum on anemia and hairloss. Apparently a lot of young women can be deficient in iron because of heavy menstration. Please make sure that you know the numbers your doctor tells you so you can compare yourself. They may say you have "normal" iron but you need the numbers. The normal range is quite broad and the goal is 70 ng/ml as you can read over on the anemia forum. I have read that hair shedding can happen if you are below 40ng/ml and you need to get your ferritin to 7 for regrowth. Wish you the best. Let us know your results. Babs
