Hi, Fade:
Hang in there! My derm (and several others) have told me that if you experience the shed very early in the rogaine process, it's a very good sign that your follicles will respond well to it. I'll think positive thoughts for you.
Also, I'm not sure if you found your wig somewhere in the DC area, but wanted to let you know that I consulted with an independent hair replacement/wig stylist a few weeks ago to determine my best options if my situation continues to worsen. She was recommended on Wig Suport and I liked her a lot. She has connections to a major wig manufacturer and can customize a variety of pieces. She also does extensions. She's young (I'm guessing late 20s) and wears wigs herself (though for style, not hairloss). Anyway, I'm happy to pass her contact info. along to you, if at some point you decide to begin wearing your wig and would like a personal stylist.
Again, hang in there -- it sounds like things can only get better from here.
Margo
