Shedding really bad

Okay, the first couple days of dread shed were about double my pre-Rogaine loss. Now it is easily quadruple. I think I shed close to 400 hairs this morning. I am pulling gobs of hair out of my head. I feel like a chemo patient here! I still am having a hard time believing this many telogen hairs are in my head. Does this heavy heavy shedding mean the dread shed is going to be over quickly for me? I am scared. How in the world will my hair survive weeks of this? I am already seeing more scalp and today is only my 6th day of noticeable dread shed. Help.
