Re: Shedding really bad

I read that you are haveing diffuse loss and perhaps that is why you are shedding so much. You probably have a lot of hair's in the telogen phase (not just hair in one area), so you have a lot of hair that needs to be kicked out to make room for the new improved hair. However, as I am writing this I am kicking myself for not starting rogaine 2 years ago when I just noticed thinning at the temples, crown and just a general flatness to my hair, now I am also having loss everywhere. I think I am going to try and get someone to prescribe propecia or flutamide for me before I try rogaine myself. My hair is so thin (was thin to start with) that any heavy shedding would leave me bald in a couple of days. Keep us posted on how it goes, there are many of us with the same loss as you and I commend you for taking the step toward rogaine and possible complete recovery, you go girl!

Is the rogiane causing any scalp itich or reddness? Jean
