I really don't think I am having TE now, just AGA (probably homonal realated, I am 45). It all started a few years ago after having a couple of surgeries and taking prednisone too many time in a one year period. I have been reading about DR. Redmond and think his idea about the propeica or some type of DHT blocker would be helpful, my hair is just slowly thinning now. My father had thin fine hair like mine, my mother has thinning hair now but it started in her 60's. My brothers all have some thinning hair and even my sister had a short bout of hair thinning I think due to diet and hair chemicals. I always had what they called baby hair (never a normal texture or thickness), so normal age related thinning is really a problem for me. I was wondering if the rogaine is causing you any scalp itich, making your hair oily or causing scalp reddness? Jean
