Hi there, a couple other things I would like your opinion on, since this shedding is so bad and is really really wreaking havoc on my hair ( I just got up and just brushed 80 out of my head -- for now it is getting worse, rather than better.)

Okay, I did read the archives and was pleased at the reports on there, it does seem like most women who stuck with it saw an increase in shed, then a reduction in shed (to pre-Rogaine) and then even a further reduction in shed (my Goal!!), but I have had trouble finding out information directly from Rogaine - I don't think the women's Rogaine site is all that informative.

Anyway, about the Rogaine stimulating only the anagen hairs that had "shrunk" or whatever, what worries me is that maybe I have not had any miniaturized hairs (most of the shed hairs are normal thickness), but my hair is very baby fine in texture, especially the underneath hairs where I am losing the absolute most. Maybe those follicles somehow have the capability under the influence of Rogaine to get bigger? Do you know if that is a possibility, even if they are not "sick?" Then again, maybe those hairs are sick and I just don't know it. I have always had hairs of varying thicknesses, and so some of my shed hairs are thicker than others, but to me, this is normal. I would say, well maybe I've been suffering some kind of slow AGA for years that has caused some of the hairs to get thinner, but I had a biopsy last year, and it did not show any miniaturization. Weird, and confusing stuff.

The other two things I am considering is one, to not apply Rogaine to my scalp when it is damp - towel-dried after shower - I read that increases absorption -- so only apply when it is completely dry, and two, maybe applying 3 quarters of a ML two times a day instead of the full ml. I am a small person and maybe the 2 ml a day is too much? Maybe if I cut down a little, it will cut down on the shedding a little? I am serious and not exagerating when I say my hair cannot withstand anymore thinning. Things are absolutely bleak here.

Anyway, I appreciate your help - it seems like you have done so much homework on this - any help/info. you can provide will be wonderful.
