I would think a needle with a very narrow bore ought to be used, something pin-sized or smaller. Also, if you are good buddies with a doctor, you might want to ask that person to help. First of all, assuming purchasing and owning the kit is legal (no reason not to believe this), it would be entirely legal to self-administer the injections. Second, again assuming owning the kit is legal, it would be entirely legal to ask a doctor to do this on you, and for him to do it. The reason I say use a doctor is that doctors can provide assurances of sterility, lack of infection or complications, etc. Plus physically it's kind of hard and awkward to inject your own scalp with a needle.
