Hi Jeff, This is also why I have always taken such an anti-government, anti-wealthy attitude here, as well. Most people, if given the control, will choose to be greedy. The more powerful the government, the more control, the more for the leaders, the less for the people.

Look at my stance with the doctors and HM. People here have been brainwashed into thinking that only doctors have the ability to give us what I think is gonna be an unbelievably easy HM procedure. I do not think they will ultimately be needed. Who is right ? I don't know. Why not let the free-market decide. Those that want to pay 3 times as much to have it done by someone with an M.D. next to their name, I champion their right to do so. But if they are so needed, then why would they feel the need to delete the competition, and be the only ones who can legally do so ? Did I forget that the AMA is a huge governmental entity ? And of course, they are watching out for all of us with the very best of intentions - LOL LOL LOL !!!!!

No Fred, I do not think wealth is a bad thing - LOL. It is not the fact that someone is wealthy, but rather the WAY THEY GOT WEALTHY. When I say wealthy, I am not talking about the guy with a million - a million bucks in todays world is not what it used to be. I am talking real wealth - the kind that gives you some control in the market place - the Bill Gates' crowd type of people. Not a damn one of them got their wealth without a lot of shenanigans.

When it is run by just one dictator, then just one person has total power - the worse situation, unless that person could be Jesus, or someone with divine qualities, who only looked out for the welfare of others.

There are some people with caring intentions who exist. I tend to be very much that way, in that I place other people's needs on an equal par with my own needs.

The trouble of course is that you would have to put a gun to these people's heads to get them to go into politics - LOL. Instead, politics gets the bottom of the barrel - the bottom feeders. I mean just about every politician is an ex-lawyer of some sort. We all know what excellent people lawyers are - LOL LOL LOL LOL !!!

We need to eliminate as much government as possible, and make the biggest part of that government on a local level, whereby people can really see what is going on, and where their money is being spent, and really then be more motivated to be involved. Today, it is on such a huge, huge level that there is no accountability for any spending, which is just what the government wants. It is a lot easier to skim off the top of the barrel then. Of course, they no longer stay on the top. They are half-way down or more - LOL LOL.

Unfortunately, it will only get worse, in my opinion. This is why every once in a while we have successful revolutions, because the people have had enough. Of course, the next regime is very seldom better than the one that preceded it. I mean we ran away from the Brits, their excessive control, and taxation, and look where we are today - the same situation that we ran away from. The Bolshevik revolution got rid of the czars, only to be replaced by evil hit-men. Perhaps Ghandi truly was a caring person, but the number of good people that have ever existed in government is about the same number that Christ found in Sodom and Gamorrah. I think Lot widdled Christ down to 5 good people. The cities still burned - LOL.
