Since bald people throw hundreds of millions of dollars ever year at scam baldness cures--but donate almost nothing to researching a real cure, I've an idea:

Let's create and market an imagined "cure" of our own.

If we word the commercials cleverly enough, people will IMAGINE we are selling a cure for male pattern baldness.

Then we can donate millions of dollars of profits to finding a real cure.

That seems to be about the only way to get those dopes to do something worthwhile with their money.

I can hear our commericals now:

"Hi, I'm Ahab Chromedome, president of Sivek.

"If you're like me, you're 'follicularly challenged' [whatever that means].

"The good news is, I've developed Sivek for people like us.

"In clinical trials in third world countries, Sivek has acheived an 87% success [at curing dandruff on rhesus monkeys].

"Sivek is approved by the FDA [but only as a dandruff shampoo].

"Sivek has solved my hair problem [dandruff].

And then we sell them no-name dandruff shampoo with our label on it.

"SIVEK

"For the Follicularly Challenged."

We buy the stuff for fifty cents a barrel, and sell it for twenty dollars an ounce.

We might even add a sexy woman's voice saying something like, "Sound good? I think so . . . . "

Later on when the public starts to get wise, we add a little saw palmetto--maybe the part of the herb that health food companies otherwise throw out when making their Saw capsules.

Let's say we sprinkle an ounce of reject Saw into every thousand gallons of our no-name dandruff shampoo.

Now we can make new commercials that address a more 'sophisticated' audience who has heard of DHT.

Only we can say our shampoo--err, I mean our cure, is "Extra Strength Sivek with an all natural ingredient that counteracts DHT without the side effects [and without the main effect, either] of Propecia."
