Yes, I agree. Your real government is the NSA and CIA, with real economic control in the hands of Mr. Greenspan and the fed. reserve.

We actually have more government per capita than the US does. The NDP(our commies) have been the only party to reject patronage appointments to the senate. Our senators have been accused of being a bunch of do nothings. One senator named Thomson, barely made it to work here in Ottawa 3 days out of the year and was listed as ill. News papers here tracked him down to a summer house in California. And these senators are not elected by the public, and in fact governments have "stacked" our senate with patronage appointments in their favor. It's ridiculous. One senator was wheeled into his place of employment only to fall asleep in the library for most of the day. And these guys aren't on low income either. They're millionaires at the tax payers expense. Ottawa is full of golden handshakes and gold plated pensions for the annointed ones. Apparently it's not "It's the economy stupid" or Al Gore would be president right now. I think that history shows that good economies are not always good for the politicians.
