Sorry to repost but no answer:  Zinc Oxide 10% Cream does not come out until after 10 washings over 2 days....

I tried Zinc Oxide 10% cream on Monday of last week. I left it on for 30 minutes and shampoo'd 5 times before I felt that some of it had come out. When I got out of the shower my hair was still very greasy, although thankfully all of the white color was gone.

I shampoo'd 5 times the next morning (no Zinc application) and still after exiting the shower my scalp was greasy.

Later after work I shampood a few more times, and finally my scalp felt normal.

Suffice it to say that if it takes 2 days and 10 plus shampoo'ings to remove Zinc Oxide 10% cream, then I really can't do this.

Any ideas or comments, anyone? Isn't there a water soluble zinc version? Something that practically rinses off?

I've always been under the assumption that light water soluble applications have better penetration then oil based ointments. After all, how many of you have trouble washing out Minoxidil? None, right?

Hi, You seem to be the only one on lipoxidil. Could you tell me -is the alcohol and propylene glycol content the same as in minoxidil. I have developed a very irritated scalp after being on rogaine for one year. Obviously don't want to stop using it. Is lipoxidil any less irritating?? thanks alot. good Luck ps- where do you get it?
