also, I think in any confrontation each of the parties *involved* and only the parties involved, should get to make ONE post to you telling you his/her side of the story and then you decide what is just. I don't think there should be long drawn out debates about right and wrong. If 2 people are disputing and you have to get involved then you should accept one post from each of them and make a decision that's final. And once you make a decision it should be left at that and if someone goes on grumbling about your decision that person should be denied access for 24 hours while he/she cools off and then he/she can come back but they have to accept your decision and not grumble and stir up stuff over the decision.
