Dear Fred,

I don´t know any scientific publication about HM. No animal studies, no in vitro studies, nothing! HM is not discussed at the Hair Research Meetings. All we have is an interview. How do you know, that Dr. Gho tells the truth? He has said for many years, that HM is ready and only a few months away, but nothing has happened. On the other hand there are a lot of studies about hair gene research. Additionally there are more than half a dozen successful human gene therapy studies for various illnesses, e.g. SCID, head and neck cancer, AIDS, haemophilia and heart disease. The principle of gene therapy is always similar or the same, so this progress is also important progress for a hair gene therapy. Cures by gene therapy are already a reality and not in the distant future. In my opinion human clinical studies with a hair gene therapy could start in about 2-3 years, if there is enough funding for the researchers and enough study participants are found soon. Bye Andreas
