If free fatty acids (Revivogen) can penetrate the skin effectively, then they are probably enough by themselves. On paper, it looks like RU58841 would certainly be preferred over spironolactone, but any receptor blocker in combination with an effective 5-AR inhibitor should work well for most people.

I agree with your logic wholeheartedly. I also think finasteride tends to work against itself by raising serum testosterone and lowing SHBG-bound T levels. Ever wonder why it fails in 17% of users (and this number is likely much higher since companies overrate their successes in clinical trials)? Topicals avoid these problems, which is why I like 'em.
