With enough data and statistics, it would not be difficult to write a computer program to exactly place hair follicles for the desired result. Like some of the "makeover" software already available, we could see ourselves with various hair lengths, density, and style. After choosing what we want, the program could generate a "map," or even be tied in to some futuristic gadget that sits on our head...kind of like the gadgets in B-movies that suck your brains out ;-) Really though, if the tool used to insert cells/follicles can be set to automatic depth, the only other factors are the angle of insertion and the horizontal pattern. Or is the angle actually a factor too? I keep reading that there are major differences in DF from Gho's procedure.. If you are inserting cells alone, do they have to be positioned at the proper angle? Or will they act like a "seed" and just grow towards the surface?
