I don't see how fabricating "DF" accomplishes any of Gho's objectives. Gho is on his own timeline, not anybody else's. He doesn't feel any particular need to cater to anyone, or to respond to anyone else's needs to have any announcements made at a particular point in time. Creating a hoax like DF would help Gho not one iota, because he doesn't need it. He doesn't need to "buy time" because as I said, he's completely on his own timetable and doesn't really care what others think. Even if he did care, putting up a web site of a fake competitor wouldn't alleviate his worries a bit -- it would only create more grief for him, as more people clamor for some kind of cure or announcement soon.
