By the way, even if DF is a hoax, what they say about the underlying technology used is based on a kernel of truth -- the Vogel-Cooley technique as described elsewhere (and which someone posted on this forum recently). That would explain Fleskens' familiarity with it, and the supposed sound of "fear" in his voice. Maybe the DF hoax is actually working, and has actually misled Gho into believing there is competition coming from Canada. The description of the DF "procedure" on the Selkirk site sounds like an adaptation of the various descriptions we've seen of the Vogel-Cooley procedure (skin biopsy, etc.) -- perhaps embellished upon with other information about density achieved, etc.

Now, all this is predicated upon the theory that DF is a hoax. I am NOT saying that I think this is true, categorically. It still might pan out as real. But you have to agree that just the fact that there's NO INDPENDENT CORROBORATING EVIDENCE of it anywhere -- no periodical articles, no information about where and when research trials were conducted, Ryan Livingston's shadowy behavior, etc. -- all tend to suggest something is very fishy.

I do believe there is a real person named Ryan Livingston. If DF is a hoax, he may be the willing "front man", a member of the group.

For all we know, there may be a group of a number of people who have been familiar posters here at Hairsite, who are involved in this in some way or another, or at least who know what's going on behind the scenes.
