No, it doesn't necessarily prove that it's not a hoax. By definition, a hoax wants to be taken seriously. That's why it's a hoax.

Now, if the perpetrators of a hoax discovered an obvious error in their presentation, or if such an error was pointed out for them, they'd hasten to fix it, wouldn't they? To keep the hoax as credible as possible.

The same would apply if it were a legitimate venture, because a legitimate venture also wants to be taken seriously and not be laughed at.

So, while the fact that they fixed the mistake doesn't prove it's a hoax, it certainly doesn't do a thing to disprove it.

All it demonstrates is what I said -- that they probably watch this forum closely. They either noticed the mistake themselves and fixed it, or found out about the mistake here after my post. I believe the latter happened, since they had the site up over a month with the typo, and only fixed it within a few days AFTER I mentioned it.
