Well, I am going to post something that goes against what your hearing in regards to taking more Propecia.

I have taken Propecia since it was marketed under that name since it was released in 1998; I never took it as Finasteride. I had significant regrowth for 18 months, I mean a lot. In that time, my balls ached for two months, my chest and stomach hair decreased and my libido dropped some but I was happy as a lark, though my g/f at the time was a little concerned. Around 18 months, I started to shed again, and I noticed more of my chest/stomach hair coming back. I was taking it religiously every day. Freaking I discovered this site (and HM) but I found a reference on alt.baldspot from Dr. Proctor who responded to my question about what was happening. He said it is not uncommon for your body to react excessively to low levels of things in your body like the Alpha-5 reductase, and increase production. This is what is known as a feedback loop control. Likewise, if the levels rose too high, the body would slow production. So, it's possible that taking Propecia all the time could push the body to actually increase production. He advises his patients to skip their medicine every 5th day. This seemed to help me quite a bit. Just a tip if it happnes to you too, but I would ask around for verification, don't just take my word for it.
