>>>That's why regular finasteride usage reduces the amount in the blood (not necessarily hair follicles, BTW) by 70%. In other words, it reduces type 2 by close to 100%, and type 1 by close to 0%.<<<

>>Which is it 70% or 100% inhibition of type 2 5AR?<<

I already told you that! 100%! Which part of my explanation did you not understand??

>>Of course type 2 5AR remains in the hair follicles, as well as type 1 scince the drug does nothing to stop type 1...<<

I don't know what that sentence means. Please speak with precision, so that there will be no possibility of any misunderstanding.

When you say "type 2 remains in the hair follicles", do you mean LITERALLY the type 2 enzyme remains in the follicles?? OF COURSE it does. The 5alpha-reductase enzyme is a cellular enzyme. It stays put inside the cells. Or do you mean that the DHT *from* the type 2 enzyme stays inside the cells?? If THAT is what you mean, then you're wrong, because (as I indicated) finasteride eliminates virtually 100% of DHT from the type 2 enzyme.

>>but based on your statements there should be no type 2, if you have 100% inhibition. 100% inhibition means 100% inhibition.<<

That's correct. As I said, finasteride inhibits type 2 from forming DHT by nearly 100%.

>>Finasteride does not inhibit type 2 5AR 100% anywhere in the body.<<

Yes, it does.

>>Read the literature!<<

I suggest that YOU read the literature.

>>Or if you have something to back up this miraculous claim please post it.<<

Do your own homework. I've done mine.

Bryan
