To get the best results using a stimulant with an anti-androgen is the way to go. You've got to attack from as many angles as possible. It just makes sense.

You are right. Anti-androgens alone do lead to regrowth. Remember though they do so by substracting DHT from the equation and not by necessarily *adding* anything. In other words they help *indirectly*.

Minoxidil has been proven to stimulate VEGF. And recent studies on VEGF show its capacity alone to regrow hair. Were you aware of this? Using SOD's, Minoxidil, etc. to stimulate other growth factors can help reverse the fibrosis that limit the anti-androgens ability to regrow hair.

The bottom line is that the actual hair count data for minoxidil is more impressive than either Finasteride or Dutasteride results we have to date.
