Androgenetic alopecia is generally categorized as a NON-SCARRING ALOPECIA. However this can vary depending on the person's degree of hairloss and how long they have been balding. I criticized Bryan's comment because he states that men using dutasteride will need a hair growth stimulant like minoxidil, but what he should have said is that SOME men may need to use a growth stimulant depending on their particular condition.
