Ahab, your statements often don't make sense.

Personally, I wouldn't care if I had a full, thick head of hair, or if I lost it all, if it weren't for the single factor of WOMEN and what turns most of them on.

The fact is there is no physical attribute that quite packs the WHALLOP of a full, thick head of hair, as far as women are concerned.

Maneless is right: some women don't mind a bald man. Look at Brooke Shields, who married Andre Agassi and stayed with him as he got balder and balder. Eventually, he left her for another tennis player -- Steffi Graf.

However, for MOST women, a man with a full, thick head of hair is far more appealing than a balding man. And, I'll go even further than that: My personal theory is that the thicker a man's hair is, the SEXIER he is to most women.

Look at Elvis. His hair was as thick as they come. And women literally swooned over him. At concerts, he would bend down into the front row of screaming female fans, and what did those starry-eyed women touch? HIS HAIR. And what kind of hair did he have? Not just a full head of hair, but a VERY THICK HEAD OF HAIR -- thick enough to style into a super-pompadour!!

The majority of males who continue to have a full head of hair into their 30s and 40s, in my experience, have what I'd call an "average" head of hair. NOT noticeably balding, not even visibly thinning, but not super-thick. Enough for full coverage, enough to style neatly, enough to part on one side without exposing any bald spots, enough to declare they have a full head of hair and aren't balding. Think of Tom Brokaw. Is he balding? No one would really say so. Is he thinning? He doesn't have any bald spots. But, does he have great hair? NO.

Who is it these young women swoon over, though? Men -- of any age -- who have the THICKEST hair -- thick enough to comb backwards, up into a pompadour. Women never point this out openly, because the fact of it doesn't even reach their conscious minds. But those are the men they go ga-ga over. Those are the men they find most attractive.

If Gary Condit had hair like Tom Brokaw, he wouldn't be sleeping with 24 year-old interns.

Instead, Gary Condit has a major, blow-dried version of a pompadour -- extremely thick hair. Other than that, he's an aging, even less-than-average looking man. His hair is everything. With Gary Condit, the hair makes the man!

If you look at all the men (actors, rock stars, etc.) women go craziest over, they are the men with the thickest hair. Look at the Brad Pitts, the Johnny Depps, all the actors who are James Dean types. Look at the Latin stars like Ricky Martin and others. It's not just that they have full heads of hair -- it's that they have EXTREMELY THICK hair.

Wouldn't it be great if HM or tissue engineering could give us hair like that?

Hell, I know a lot of WOMEN whose own appearance could be dramatically improved by something like this.
