I have to agree with you but I think that the real toss up here is that no matter what if a sperm cell and egg combine then there is a chance that a new kid can arise. Anti-abortionists think this way, which I find ridiculous because the cells have not differentiated into brain cells or lungs or hearts yet when they are used for stem cell research so all they are is cells which if grown in a test tube should not be such a big deal. Those people that are heavy into religion can believe otherwise since it is not my place to judge your beliefs but I think that stem cell research is going to help a lot of people for the better.
