Do you condemn every ancestor of yours for eating another animail for the "selfish" benefit of surviving. Your logic says that life should live and no one should take that away. Are you a vegetarian then? Who's to say plants don't feel anything. Just because you deem them a lower life form I guess that's what gives you the right to kill them chop them up and eat them. Now for some reality. You wouldn't be here if we didn't "kill another animal simply so that the human animal can benefit." Right now millions of people could benefit from the research of stem cells. But oh no they need to suffer, die, live miserably so that we can keep up this charade of perfection. Wake up! Life's not perfect! Sometimes you have to choose the lesser of two evils. Ironically this perfect dream world that your living in would be better achieved through some of the advances of stem cell research. I didn't say I love the idea of this research but to say that the means NEVER justifies the end??!! When you quit eating, stepping on bugs, and using ANY product that could only have existed through the suffering of another animal I'll believe you. Oh by the way I'll never know if you took my advice because you'd be dead. Never mind the end it's the MEANS that matter right?
