I think you are mistaking the parathyroid for the thyroid, increasing levels of thyroxine might be what you are refering to when you mention the increase in kgf, because it dose increase the metabolic rate of most body cells, but it also could throw your anterior pituitary gland *among others* all out of wack. One way you could do this is to up your blood iodine levels, though I DO NOT SUGGEST IT. And, if this is the case, then the mammalian studies are of no consequence because while in an animal like a bird who migrates, and whos feathers molt due to the increase of thyroxine in the blood, or a dog who sheds his winter coat in the spring, the increase in thyroxine is part of their natrual endocrinological cycle, and balance, but humans do not migrate, metamorphose, or molt, and as far as I know, in humans it only effects growth, and the metabolic rate of some cells. But, like I said, due to it's ability to accomplish the latter it may in fact increase the sythesis of kgf, but even if that is the case, beware it is just one thing in a chain of many events that will occur due to a increase in your thyroxine levels, and that just by altering one aspect of your endocrine system can cause a domino effect that can be detramental to your overall health, so think it through whatever you decide to do, and Rsanders if you can get a better idea of exactly what this guy is doing I would be intrested to hear.
