Thanks Someone for your feedback. As I mentioned earlier I was looking into taking Chrysin as an anti-aromatase agent. I sent a letter months ago to someone at MPB research about it. I can't remember exactly what I asked them about but this is what they had to say...in case you're interested.Sorry for the delay in getting back. What you may be confusing is estrogens and phytoestrogens which are much weaker then estrogen and displace stronger estrogen(ie estradiol) as well as androgens , at the receptor sites. In this context phytoestrogens can actually be somewhat antiestrogenic and antiandrogenic at the same time, which would be beneficial for hair growth.

// Estrogen has been conclusively shown to play a role in disorders that were traditionally considered to be androgen mediated, ie acne, BPH, etc. Excess estrogen creates multiple health problems, ie prostate enlargement, bodyfat(obesity) etc in aging men. The T/E ratio changes heavily in favor of estrogen as a male ages. The now coined "estrogen syndrome" in endocrinology consists of COMBINATION OF MPB, BPH, loss of libido, and obesity. Estrogen is clearly essential for overall health , even hair growth. It is the EXCESS estrogen that creates the problems.Moderately lowering estrogen levels makes sense and is therapeutic for a lot of disorders in aging men incuding BPH and hair loss.
