I have been thinking a lot lately about going to see a therapist because of my depression over my hair. I am a woman, and believe me, losing my hair since 24 has been devastating to my self-esteem. When I was diagnosed with AGA I didn't even want to leave the house. Even now it is hard for me to enjoy myself out in the sun because I am afraid of people seeing my thinning hair. I've tried to have the "so what" attitude, but I can't. Benny, I would be interested in knowing what natural remedies you use for depression. I've tried St. Johns Wort but it didn't really help. I would rather take care of my depression naturally, but I don't want to let it rule my life. I also feel especially down because I am still single. Now, I feel that when I go on dates I should inform men that I will probably be bald someday just to prepare them.
