TJ, No matter what problem we may encounter in real life, the first step is to diagnose what it is. The next step is to diagnose how to fix it. The third step is then to actually have the discipline to do it.

When I talk about nutrition to people, I like to compare it to our cars, since that is something that people have an interest in. Cars were designed to run in a particular way. If we put water in the gas tank, and oil in the radiator, it ain't gonna do much. Why ? Because that is not how that machine was designed.

Likewise, the foods that our bodies truly desire are not found in chemical stores, oops I mean supermarkets, and they certainly are not found in a pharmacy.

Luckily, we have been able to manufacture some of our most important nutrients - vitamins, and we have been able to encapsulate minerals, but we will never be able to make an apple, or ever find out all the chemical structures that comprise one. But nature can take a seed, and make many apples from it. Our physiology is intricately linked to all other life on this planet, and we are the only life on this planet that eats contrary to our needs. We may be intelligent, but we certainly are far from being wise.

Health and nutrition is a way of life for me, but I don't make any money off it, so you won't find my special patented chemical on the supermarket's shelf - LOL.

I'll part with a saying I particularly like. Anyone can count the number of seeds in an apple, but only God can count the number of apples in a seed. Take care as well.
