Hi Lostsoul, I am sorry that you ran into some very shallow people. I honestly don't think you have to tell a date about hairloss. I am wondering just a little, if it wasn't the hairloss itself that weirded them out, but the fact that you brought it up(out of the blue?) and made it seem like an obsession. People who aren't experiencing hairloss don't really understand how much if affects us. I have told some friends about it and they don't seem to "get" how important and terrible it is to me. So perhaps these women were reacting to what they thought was just plain weird of you to tell them. Since they went on a date with you, you must have appealed. I don't know if these things are true, but perhaps food for thought. I would wait until I felt very comfortable with a person and felt that they were comfortable with ME also before mentioning it.
