First of all, DRB, the article on < edited >.com has no listed author. And yet it is presented as gospel, published on the Internet in the style of a web-based newspaper or magazine.
Who wrote that article (which appeared in the < edited >.com newsletter)? Was < edited > the author of the article? Then why doesn't he say so? Why isn't there a complete byline for the article? The fact that there is no attribution makes the article look very suspicious, and casts doubt on some of the contents.
I have no doubt that the article is correct, in that the EHRS did indeed reject an "application" by someone claiming to be "Dr. Gho".
But first, the article mentions that the application was submitted via the EHRS website. Is the application form on the EHRS website able to screen out false "applications" by individuals posing as other people? Maybe someone filled in Dr. Gho's name on the application, and submitted it under false pretenses.
Why would they do this, you ask?
Perhaps they did it so that the vote by the EHRS board could be witnessed by an onlooker, and the reactions of the board members to this false application by "Dr. Gho" could be ascertained. In this way, a planted witness could determine if Gho had any reputation among fellow European hair loss experts, and what that reputation might be. Maybe the false application was submitted and the rejection was taken note of and reported on as part of some scheme to damage Gho's reputation.
Or, perhaps the real Dr. Coen Gho did submit the application via the EHRS web site after all. This is certainly very possible. Maybe Gho was indeed trying to leverage recognition by EHRS into something positive for himself. Maybe it was an act of cynical expedience on Gho's part. We know that it's essentially true that Gho has long insulated himself from his colleagues in the medical research field. He does not publish his scientific findings, and holds all his cards very close to his chest. In that way, he seems to be 90% capitalist and 10% scientist. More a wannabe Bill Gates of hair cloning than the Dr. Albert Schweizer of hair restoration.
However, we'll never know from that lousy article on < edited >.com. Whoever wrote that article did some very poor investigative work.
