Kevin, I don't want to get into a long debate with you, but if you email me with your phone number, I'd be glad to call you. You have my email address.

You say the sources of the information are mentioned at the top of the article, and true, in very small print, you mention that the information was "provided and verified by EHRS". But you failed to mention exactly who at EHRS provided or verified the information, and only specified this here in your message on this forum. Moreover, the way the source was "attributed" (in a tiny header to the article, rather than in the text of the article itself), is highly unusual and not standard journalistic practice. Nowhere in the article did you mention specifically that you HLT had contact with any sources at EHRS. In your article, you simply reported on the goings-on at their conference as if the information fell from the sky into your in-box. Unlike Farrel Manne on Hairlosshelp.com, or David Tse here on Hairsite, who meticulously attributes their report and generally sign (or make it plainly obvious) who has compiled their investigative pieces, and what their sources are, you frequently present "articles" that are unsigned and don't clearly indicate where the information is coming from. Was it a direct source who provided the information to HLT? Then why don't you indicate that? The way you present your information is sometimes misleading.

Case in point. Your website was THE VERY FIRST site to publish the mysterious e-mail that started the whole "Dermal Fusion" fiasco, if I am not mistaken. From the very inception of the DF hoax, you gave a very prominent position to this e-mail on your site. But for most (if not all) of the time the e-mail was there, it was UNATTRIBUTED and bore NO SIGNATURE OR INFORMATION IDENTIFYING A SOURCE. You simply gave prominence to a very misleading e-mail. Any newcomer to the subject of hair multiplication, a new visitor to your site, or someone otherwise uninformed or unititiated on the subject or the progress of the ongoing investigation and debate raging over DF was likely to read that and perhaps believe it. And this ongoing investigation and debate was conducted by Farrel Manne, Spencer Kobren, and David Tse's community of posters here at Hairsite -- NOT by yourself or < edited >.com). In fact, I didn't see you contribute to it at all -- all you did was keep a very misleading, UNATTRIBUTED e-mail up on your web site.

And all that's for starters. I *do not* want to debate this subject ad nauseam here on Hairsite, because this is not the proper forum for my opinions about your site. I only bring it up to respond to your defense of your web site which you made here. If you want to discuss this further, e-mail me and I will phone you if you wish. I would like to have a civil discussion of the matter with you, and believe we can share ideas respectfully. However, I stand by my observations about the way you present information on your web site. For someone as obviously intelligent and talented as you are (aesthetically the web site is very professional looking -- I don't know if you designed it but the format and "look" is well-done). But content-wise, the site leaves a lot to be desired. You tend to take old material that's been published first elsewhere, and recycle it. When you do publish information first ("scooping" competing sites), there unfortunately is a consistent pattern of presenting such information in a misleading or sensationalistic way.
