Hi RS, Your guess about the enzyme loop could be correct, I have no idea.

But you seem to be missing the point with regards to the odds of suffering from MPB. The fact that more 55-year olds suffer from hairloss does not mean that a 55-year-old carries as much risk to develop hairloss as a 35-year-old does.

I guess you did not fully understand my example, and I am unsure how to better explain it. All 55-year-olds were once 35-year-olds. The statistic that we would need to see is the percent of men who started showing signs at 25, versus those who started showing signs at 35, and again at 55.

I would bet that those who only started showing signs at 55 would be in the huge minority. I didn't start until 35, and that is pretty late as it is - most start much earlier. I think the main reason I started late is simply because I don't have the high ratios, and thusly not only did I start late, but it has been very gradual, and for the most part, it seems to not be getting any worse.

If on the other hand, I had high T ratios, I am pretty sure I would have serious hairloss, because I already suspect that my enzymes are high, just because of how my dad looked.
