I have an update on the SirCam virus, highlighted on an earlier thread. The advice was that everyone infected should forewarn all those in their address book, as this is how it spreads. However, despite becoming infected, no one in mine received such an e-mail. I knew that it had attempted to spread as I received a delivery-failure message from an attempt to spread to an invalid address. I was somewhat perplexed by this, as this address was not in my book.
Eventually I realised that some addresses seemed to be missing, and started to put 2 + 2 together. Therefore, I contacted one such person, and he confirmed that he had received a SirCam e-mail from me.
Therefore, it appears that it selects a few addresses to spread to, and deletes them from the book. In other words, it's a bit damn pointless forewarning those in your book - instead, concentrate on those who have disappeared from your book!

You're right. I know that nobody posting here supports killing of any kind. I will discontinue the bs and get on with becomeing an advocate for HM rights for the follicularly challenged. I declare war on hairloss from this single fox hole.
