JTR, Firstly, my personal hairloss is small, and at this point has almost nothing to do with me being here. People who truly know me, know that that particular statement of yours is completely false.

Secondly, unlike the vast majority of people, I do not make decisions based upon my personal outcome. I make them based upon what is good for society, i.e. the majority of people, on the whole. This you should have been able to figure out by now. I am adaptable, and would be thrilled to be forced to adapt for the betterment of the whole of society.

Thirdly, I was unaware that HT surgeons do little of the work, currently. But this even makes my argument more valid. I actually thought that their skill was needed with today's techniques - now I find that they aren't really needed that much today.

All of your arguments basically stem around the main supposition that it would be impossible to fight city hall, i.e. the medical legislature, because it is their rules, and thusly their livelihood that would be affected.

I have never argued that point with you. You do not have to convince me of the strength of the various lobbies, towards protecting their clout, and thusly their wealth. So please do not label me as naive, when you know darn well that it isn't true.

My arguments stem mainly from what should be done, or could be done, not on how difficult it would be. We should not give exclusive access of this procedure to the medical community, but I also believe there should be medical help available, TO WHATEVER EXTENT IS NEEDED. This won't be known until HM arrives, and will more than likely change, as providers get more comfortable with what they are doing.

I am not running a campaign to promote cosmetologists to become providers, only that I think many of them would turn out to be good at giving the procedures. What I am advocating is giving people other than doctors, the chance to be involved.

I happen to be a fixer. I analyze the problem, and propose a better solution to it. I am very good at this, mainly because I have no axe to grind. My decisions are based simply and purely on how to better the situation, and not on protecting someone's interests. Unfortunately, you and I both know, that decisions and laws from our government are based solely on what is good for them.

And, like you, my main goal is to bring about HM. I usually only mention the cosmetologists when you get too rambunctious at supporting the medical community's inherent rights. If you look at my web site, it is 100% about bringing about HM, 0% about who should do it - that should give you some sort of conclusive evidence as to where my energies are focused.

So let's just agree to disagree. Like I told you before, if you don't get on your soapbox, advocating the medical community's inherent rights, then I won't argue with you.
