Sorry about that. I should have said that it doesn't significantly alter transcription... i.e. those people show no signs of hair loss, nor might they ever.

"I think you mean to say that in some people, DHT does not alter their nuclear transcription in such a way, or to enough of a degree, that it will adversely affect the health of their follicles, at least at reasonably normal levels of DHT. That's about as far as I would go in that context."

Yes Bryan, that's what I meant. I'll try to be as precise as possible with my wording next time. Hormones do alter nuclear transcription in *most* people, but mRNA expression is controlled by respector sensitivity. Do you concur here?
