Hello, thanks for the great suggestions.

I believe concentrating on protein is very important.

I believe eating a high carb, low protein diet for nearly a year helped start me on the path to hairloss.

I like eggs too because cooked they are a good source of natural biotin.

As far as supplements go, it can depend on the person.

It's hard to trust info on the web about them because it's usually provided by someone selling it(who has a stake in it)

For example, I have read wonderful things about COQ10, but then I have also read that it doesn't do anything for us taken as a suppplement because the digestion process eliminates it.

Hard to know what is correct.

I take biotin supplements.

I like vitamin C--I use chewable because it gets to the bloodstream faster.

I take a prenatal, but I don't know that the guys want to use it.

Prenatals are heavy on B-vitamins which I believe are good for hair.

I like the idea of flax oil, but prefer it in ground seed form because it has fiber (I think) as well in that form. Tastes good on yogurt.

I have not stopped my hairloss by any means with dietary changes. I don't truly believe we can if our loss is pattern loss. We may be able to do something if our loss is health-related.

But I have managed to slow the rate because my "system" is better when I take care of myself.
