The only thing that I can think of as far as being close minded was about the time that you started posting. There were two posters, both pretending to be other people and both basically attacking the forum and the people that post.

The close mindedness was because of what they were doing, not because they were talking about someone other than Farrell.

I'm not speaking for a group as a whole but there was alot of bad crap happening back then, yes alot of it being contributed by Farrell wearers(or soon to be wearers).

I don't think any of use feel that Farrell is the be-all, end-all. However most of use feel that he does good work and have made the commitment to wear Farrell. Commitment is a bad word but you get my drift.. ehr, hopefully.

I think another reason is that alot of people chose Farrell is because the information is easily accessible. FOR THE PERSON THAT CAN DO BETTER THAN FARRELL, YOU NEED TO GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND GET SOME MARKETING TECHNIQUES!!!!!!

Hairsite is not the only site I go to concerning hairloss. Most of the other sites have information or some kind of reference about Farrell too.

I don't want to spend this much money, I don't think anyone does. You couldn't have been farther from the truth with saying "..., the best that can be said is that they are the best that YOU have seen." Very, very true. However, I am not going to spend the next so-many-months of my life looking for a cheaper alternative that is just as good in quality. That may sound foolish but my hairloss is happening now, it will not wait for me to make a decision on what I want to do with hairloss.

There's nothing wrong with providing alternatives. Unfortunately there can be something wrong with how it's done. That may be foolish to say also but that is me and how I feel about it.
