Common Sense: Minoxidil Question

Common Sense, you don't seem to have much faith in minoxidil for people with hair loss.

Why is that ?

Do you think it has to do with the fact that most minoxidil does not get absorbed deep into the follicles ? Or do you think minoxidil itself just isn't that great ?

I've had mixed results with minoxidil. I think it's helped, but I think the biggest problem is that most of it doesn't get into the follicle.

That's why I've used minox with retin-a and have tried the Lipoxidil products.

Also, in your view does applying minoxidil to a damp scalp significantly increased absorption ?

And what are your thoughts about retin-a helping more minoxidil be absorbed ?
