Thank you for your answer. Right now I'd like to go further on this.
In a few weeks, Avodart will be out.
I've always heard that in theory, growth agents like minoxidil will work much better once DHT has been significantly inhibited enough. Doesn't that make sense ?
So right now, I'm in the process of putting together a " post avodart " routine that will exploit the DHT inhibiting power of Avodart to the fullest.
One question I have for you is about minoxidil and retin-a. You claim that using a minoxidil and retin-a combo enhances penetration.
Bryan has said that minoxidil and retin-a don't have to be used at the same time and that their applications can even be seperated. I'm confused. For instance, if I apply retin-a at 9 pm and minoxidil at 1 pm ( four hours apart ), I don't understand how this will help the minoxidil absorb more. Won't these applications be too far apart for maximum absorption to occur ?
And can you talk some more on the Lipoxidil products ? The idea behind them is that they allow the minoxidil to penetrate deeply and that the liposomes provide minoxidil to the hair follicle over a sustained period of time.
If these claims are true, than Lipoxidil has overcome two of the biggest limitations of traditional minoxidil.
Right now, I use Lipoxidil 4.5 percent a couple times a week due to the cost. It's pretty expensive, like 53 bucks for a 50 ounce bottle.
But when I start Avodart, I'm thinking about using Lipoxidil daily since more DHT will be inhibited by the Avodart. And if Lipoxidil's claims are true, than an Avodart/Lipoxidil combo seems like the best way to go.
But I'm also thinking of just using minoxidil with retin-a THREE TIMES a day as an alternative to buying more Lipoxidil.
What would you recomend ?
I realize that minoxidil has it's limitations. But if I want to get everything I can out of minoxidil, what choice do you think makes the most sense ?
