You should not have told the doctor that phase III hairloss trials were cancelled. No one knows for sure if they were cancelled. My guess is that the phase III trails are just post poned or delayed for a while. You should have told the doctor about the phase II hairloss studies and stuck to the positives and told him that Proscar is similiar but that the effects were wearing off and that you need something stronger, Dutasteride. You should have went to the doctors office with the Finasteride and Dutasteride information already printed out. 10 pills of Dutasteride daily is too much to ask of most doctors, I am sorry you fucked up and didn't think-through your appointment first.
