I'd bet that once your doc finds out what the recommended dosage is, he'll try to reason with you that 0.5 mg is the recommended dosage, and that you should actually ingest no more than that for good reason. Finasteride is a powerful systemic drug that alters your bodies hormonal levels. Avodart is going to do the same only with much more effect. Testosterone is a steroid that can affect your body adversely or positively when you play with your endocrine system as you plan to do and against better advice. Testosterone affects more than just your hair and libido and is part of a delicate system of hormones and enzymes that circulate in your body for a definite purpose.

Keep that in mind when you decide to rod your endocrine engine with drugs.
